playing catch up

It's been almost three months since I've visited this ole blog of mine and I forgot my password, it took me a minute to remember how to upload photos, and I'm not sure where to begin.  Since I'm not cooking or sharing recipes anymore, this piece of the internet has turned into a personal journal where I can look back at our best times - rusty blogging skills and all, here goes....
1)  Halloween happened
could not think of a costume for our work party #halloweenfail
so i stole holtcamp's nerdy idea for halloween night
"who is this dorky librarian? woofiehowembarrassing!"
2)  Local eats
found a new plant-based vegan cafe on the north shore which is forrest's worst nightmare
adzuki burger the size of my face, high five
cashew gets two thumbs up
3)  War Eagle!
we hit up the sec championship in atlanta to cheer on our tigers....
luckily we won or those would have been frowns
4)  Birthday boy
this dapper gent turned the big two in november
"that's right ladies, i'm older and wiser now.  woofiebringiton!"
5)  Harper Sims Cosby
my sister and bro-in-law gave me the cutest little beebee niece ever
#hairfordays
6)  Thanksgiving
we split our holiday between hanging out with forrest's family and these fools
dad whomped up a full blown low country boilage for turkey day....and some lettuce leafers for me
#vegetarianproblems
7)  Hiking
cold weather means more hiking in the woods without me wigging out about snakes
the reward: brew and the stringer's ridge viewing deck
"um, hello mama, you just going to sit here all day or what!?  woofieletsgooooo!"
8)  Casino night
you would think we were in vegas winning real money but no, just at work with fake dollar bills
9)  Christmas parade
we took this pissed off reindeer to the chattanooga christmas parade last weekend
"get these dayum antler off my head!  woofienow!!"
10)  Home sweet home
salvador and i spent this weekend in alabama with my family, lots of food, and a christmas tree that puts mine to shame.
hope you all have a merry christmas and happy new year!
