Girls Night Out: Target Edition

The circle city was expected to get hit with really awful weather this afternoon - schools around the area closed at noon, events were postponed, and everybody behind the wheel of a car started driving like bats outta hell.  I took an early lunch so that Salvador and I could take a walk around the neighborhood before it started raining.  Before our walk, the Pom was distracted by the garbage truck.....
"What's that truck doing?  I must protect this house. Woof woof!"
He loves standing up like a human and looking out the front door - odd.
I threw together a lunch full of last night's leftovers....
Curry couscous and asparagus on a bed of watercress with a dash of hot sauce.
Sister and I had plans to hit up Target after work so I jumped in her SUV and we hit the road.
My List:  bedside lamps and a king-sized comforter
Sister's List:  a shirt and / or dress for an upcoming event they plan to attend
Sister hit up Starbucks before we started our shopping spree.
These bathing suits made me nauseous.  It's only January?!?!
Apparently I need to start tanning these white thighs and laying off the late night ice cream splurges.
Target is fun especially if you are with your crazy faced Sister :)
Checking out the cleaning products that were not on her list.
Sister also found a skinny belt and shoes that were not on her list either.
Red lipstick and a triple chin - neither one on my list.
My Purchases:  lipstick, two pairs of shoes, sunglasses, candle, and a pizza for the husband
Sister's Purchases:  one pair of shoes, spiral curling iron, cleaning supplies, mustard-colored belt, and two packs of donuts
I'd say that was a successful trip -  no??!
PS - no bad storms here, only rain - which is a good thing but get it together, weathermens!
